Stock
Revlon is a name that we all heard growing up. They dominated the makeup market. Yesterday news broke that they were filing for bankruptcy. How did a company so big and with a strong brand come to this? The most obvious problem is that they had way more debt than they could’ve managed. It doesn’t matter the projections that you have for growth, always aim to keep a healthy balance sheet. the stock price fell from a high of $30 to a rockbottom $1.95.
Another take is that Revlon failed to adapt. You can have a decent product, but if you aren’t reaching the customers then it’s pointless. Other brands have made the pivot to use social media and influencers to boost sales and also reach new customers. Those who fail to see the change and take action will be left to die in the woods…alone.
Trick
Have you ever tried pumping soap to wash your hands or to do the dishes only to get a lot more than you needed? Do this to prevent that next time.
Get a rubber band and twist it on the neck of the pump. That will reduce the compression space and so it will pump less soap. A simple trick that could save you money over the long term at home or in your business.
Old
The Great Pyramid of Giza is one of the oldest construction that still exist in our world. It is also one of the greatest mysteries in construction.
The pyramids above were constructed for three pharaohs —Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. The Great Pyramid (middle) was made for Khufu. The Great Pyramid at the time of construction stood at 479 feet with a base of 754 feet. to put things into perspective, the Big Ben Clock in London stands at 315 feet. Other pyramids have been inspected and it was discovered that some had ramps built in them for mounting. Not the Great though, and that is what archaeologists have been trying to figure out.

Entertaining
We eat bread almost every day. I’ve always wanted to make my own. This recipe is simple.
Ingredients
1 package (1/4 ounce) active dry yeast
3 tablespoons plus 1/2 teaspoon sugar
2-1/4 cups warm water (110° to 115°)
1 tablespoon salt
6-1/4 to 6-3/4 cups of bread flour
2 tablespoons canola oil
Directions
In a large bowl, dissolve yeast and 1/2 teaspoon sugar in warm water; let stand until bubbles form on surface. Whisk together remaining 3 tablespoons sugar, salt and 3 cups flour. Stir oil into yeast mixture; pour into flour mixture and beat until smooth. Stir in enough remaining flour, 1/2 cup at a time, to form a soft dough.
Turn onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, 8-10 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease the top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, 1-1/2 to 2 hours.
Punch dough down. Turn onto a lightly floured surface; divide dough in half. Shape each into a loaf. Place in 2 greased 9x5-in. loaf pans. Cover and let rise until doubled, 1 to 1-1/2 hours.
Bake at 375° until loaf is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped or has reached an internal temperature of 200°, 30-35 minutes. Remove from pans to wire racks to cool.

The Psychology of Money is a book that I read last year. I enjoyed it because it spoke about many misconceptions that float around on the subject of money and wealth creation. There isn’t only one way to make money and your goals will be different from others.
Jurassic World Dominion is out. I saw it this week. It was a bit cliche for me though. I also would have wanted more 3D. The effects didn’t have me jumping out of my seat. I give it a 7. Have you seen it? If you have, let me know what you think.
