STOCK
US Market- The S&P index is used to measure the overall US stock market status. A screenshot of how companies are doing. June 30th marked the first half of 2022 and the S&P has seen its worst decline since 1970. The index is down by 20.58%, which means we are in a bear market. The market has been getting blows from events like 8.6% inflation, the Ukraine-Russia war, and China lockdowns.

OLD
The Bible is the most published book in history. It is perhaps the oldest in circulation as well. One of the most interesting and comforting things about the Bible is that, even though it was written so long ago, the message feels like it’s in real-time, and that’s because it is. God’s Word is living. There is always a verse to help you through a battle.
I use the Holy Bible app each day. Each morning I get a verse to start the day. They also have plans available so you can start one to help you on whatever journey you’re on. Get it on Apple or Android.
NEW
Many athletes get concussions in high-contact sports. There are devices available in some helmets to detect damage but the accuracy level isn’t where it should be. That’s where this new patch technology comes in.
It’s a flexible sensor that is applied to the back of the neck. It is made of two electrodes on piezoelectric film and is charged through stretching or compression. The sensors are linked to computers and these computers are able to pick up on any concussion.
Tests have been done on dummies and the sensor’s accuracy level is over 90%. More work is being done to see how this technology can be readily available to better aid our athletes. Here’s a deeper dive into the science behind this technology.
ENTERTAINING
Love Hard. This movie has an interesting storyline. My only wish is that I had seen it at Christmas, lol. It’s not a “knock you off your feet” kind of movie but it’s pretty decent if you just want to chill. Here’s the trailer.
Guga Foods is a YouTube channel that I love. He is always trying something new or weird with food. In this episode, he applies powder milk to steak. Yup, you read right.
What are your thoughts? I know that when it comes on to food, some of the craziest ideas make the best meals.
