STOCKS
US Market- Just a friendly reminder, do not try to time the market.
Over the last few months I’ve seen Tesla at mid $600s, Apple at $130s, and a lot more. Since then, these companies have been up by over 20%. The talks of a recession, housing bubble and all sorts of headlines have caused many to dump fine investments.
Stocks are assets. You don’t sell your farm, private company, home or any other asset when the market is acting crazy… stocks should be treated likewise if you’re in this for the long haul.
Jamaican Market- The growth is real, and young entrepreneurs are motivated to create quality companies, to one day list on the JSE. Here are some updates:
JMMB holdings have purchased 100% of Banco Múltiple Bell Bank, S.A. in the Dominican Republic.
NCB Financial Group books a solid $18.64 billion in net profit for the nine-months period ending June 30, 2022.
One-on-One Educational Services’ prospectus is out. Take a look if you want to learn more abut the company.

OLD
The Pomander watch, made in 1505, is believed to be the oldest watch in the world.
It was made in Germany by Peter Henlein (many still question this today). The case and the movement were made from iron, copper, gold and silver plated materials. In 1987, the watch found its way into modern times when a watch apprentice bought it for 10 pounds at a flea market in London.
Since then it has been sold several times and sources estimate it’s worth between $50-$80 million.
NEW
Amazon is now using electric vans from Rivian for last-mile deliveries.
Rivian is an electric auto manufacturer, a company in which Amazon is also an investor.
Jeff Bezos had announce that Amazon would purchase 100,000 vans from Rivian, in 2019. Gas is a huge expense for Amazon right now. Switching to EVs also aligns with Amazon’s goal of net-zero carbon emissions by 2040.
ENTERTAINING

Money is a tool that can be use to save decades of our lives. Time that would’ve been dedicated to slaving away at a job just to survive.
